first_img07Feb Rep. Kahle announces grants to Lenawee County robotics teams State Rep. Bronna Kahle of Adrian today announced a combined grant award of over $20,000 to FIRST Robotics programs in Lenawee County.“These grants provide a great opportunity for our students,” Kahle said. “They will help fund our educational robotics teams here in Lenawee, helping our students receive the education they deserve.”FIRST is an international educational organization focusing on the development and implementation of science and technology in schools. The Michigan Department of Education awarded over $2.5 million in grants to FIRST programs this year. Since 2014, Michigan has invested over $12 million to FIRST programs.Adrian Public Schools, Clinton Community Schools, Lenawee ISD, Madison District Public Schools and Tecumseh Public Schools all received FIRST robotics grants.
