first_imgStay on target In Florida, the Port Richey Police Department had to “evict” an alligator after it accidentally wandered to a nearby hair salon.On May 2, the Port Richey Police Department shared a Facebook post on the strange incident. A few days earlier, the reptile reportedly traveled too far from its habitat and made a pit stop at Hair Obsessions, KTLA5 News reported. However, the guest was not there for a haircut or color,” Port Richey Police Department wrote on Facebook. “The gator left his home and wandered up to surrounding businesses.”Thankfully though, Captain Koch, Sergeant Russo, and Officer Runge of the Port Richey Police Department arrived at the scene and were able to help the alligator go back home. No one (including the gator) was hurt in the process.Alligators are apparently curious about houses as well: On April 25, a “nosey” alligator reportedly knocked on a woman’s door and peeped inside her window on a hot day.
